Mount Cuba Center raves about this coreopsis. This fall blooming coreopsis has a lovely dense habit with shiny green leaves and a golden yellow bloom with a dark center. 
 
Supports a wide variety of pollinators including predatory insects (important for a healthy ecosystem). Birds eat the seeds.
