Blue False Indigo or Wild Indigo is a unique clumping perennial in the bean family with smooth, rounded foliage and lovely blue flowers in spring. This plant slowly matures to 2-4’ wide by adding stalks each year to form a shrub like appearance. Your patience will pay off with multi season interest. The seed pods are highly ornamental if left standing for the winter.
