Look who landed....

On a leg! This gorgeous Luna Moth descended upon a helper today. She appears to have narrowly escaped a predator. Luna Moth caterpillars make their cocoon wrapped in a leaf where they overwinter in the leaf litter. Please leave your leaves, do not shred them, and skip the chemicals!
