Dark foliage, high drama

High foliage color and texture contrast in the garden is eye-catching. Bonus, dark foilage is less appealing to deer. Will they still chance a taste? I always assume they will. Mostly, they leave mine alone. Check in soon for the blooms which are particularly beautiful. Pictured: Penstemon 'Husker's Red.' A similar alternative is Penstemon's 'Dark Towers'.
